Well, we made it to Mongolia. It is a spectacular place, every mile there's a photo opportunity. It's slow going though. The roads, were they exist are appalling, were they don't exist we have…

Hi Graham's family.
We have not had any messages from the Blackand Blue team for a couple of weeks. In his last message Colin told us that he was in Russia and his mobile phone was not working (not good for a telecomms engineer). Have you had any messages from Graham? We would like to know if they arrived safely. Do you have any information? If so could you please post a message on this site or ring 0131 554 5883.
Thanks
Susan and Colin's mum who is currently in Edinburgh

Hi Colin,
We are trying to plot your progress too. Where are you? I hope you are keeping safe and having fun. Good Luck
Doris and Angela. P. S. Hi Susan!

Amazing you send two telecommunication engineers further than the end of the road and there's not a txt or electronic signal after the known world of Hyde Park!
We want to know where you are and if the little Suzuki has survived the Ukranian and Russian roads.

Colin/Graham - did you put the cat out before you left and have you cancelled the milk....oh, and by the way, can you reset the i3000 shelf!

Hi colin
Mum was delighted you phoned her although she didn't seem to know where Slovakia was located. You must be in Ukraine somewhere by now and very hot. It is pretty hot here, about 27-30 degrees and even hotter in London. We have the builders in again at the moment as they are building the joining wall with the neighbours and it is looking good. They are in Los Altos at the moment staying at Mum's place and seem to be enjoying themselves.
hope you can send a message soon.

Hi colin
Have you arrived in Prague yet? It is warm here, approx 25 degrees, but not as hot as London.
I looked at the mongol rally website and it seems a pretty mad group of people organised the event but with a good sense of irony. I searched the list of entrants and couldn't see your names. There were some very imaginative names with the required sense of adventure but not "Are we there yet?" Or is your team name different to your web address?
Chris and I have finally finished moving rocks and stones around the garden ready for the builder to start the wall tomorrow. I will be glad to return to work tomorrow for a rest!
Mum said she might come and visit for a few days in next week as I told her it was cooler in Edinburgh.

Hi colin and graham
Wish you lots of luck on your exciting journey and wish I was going with you both. From my visit, over 30 years ago, to Prague my memory is of a fairy tale place especially the St George's bridge. In all the excitement try and remember to enjoy the places your are in at the time and don't look too far ahead.
Hope the spelling improves on the way (nb: Practising)! and good luck with cyrillic.
Love Susan
