Hi Garry, fantastic work out in the field. Your blog site is full of great material and keeping us very entertained here in the Earthwatch Australia office! Super effort, great content, images and videos....keep it up. Nice shooting with the pine cones! Probably a good thing we can't do that around here. Best regards from the whole team here in Melbourne.

Hi Garry. Cookie cutters, peach fuzz? What are you on??? The PB's loook friendly. Do you have saddles to ride them? I was looking at the photos of the work shop. Do you want me to post you some ear muffs and safety goggles? Your photo diary is extensive. How will you ever select a picture for next yeras diary cover? Maybe have 3 or 4. I have nearly finished marking year 10 SC and started on their reports. How you ever did it in less than a week I don't know. Looking forward to more photos. Stephen

Garry,
What exactly are you using the GPR for? It all sounds interesting, but what is the purpose? Depth of permafrost???

Hi Garry

Nice photos Garry,
I'm looking forward to the one of Poley posed on top of a real polar bear's head... THAT, will be a great picture!!!

It was good to talk to you this morning Garry. The photos really help to see what it is like up there. The sky looks so blue and the air so clean. Maybe you weren't joking about the polar bears. Signs, guns, bars on windows. Looks a bit serious. Looking forward to more photos. Stephen

We had issues with automatic check-in when leaving LA airport to go to NY. We didn't think we would get on the plane - in the end I just picked up the phone and insisted on some help. Forgot to share that experience - could have given you some tips beforehand - nevermind - as long as you made it OK.

Hi Garry: We are following your Canadian adventure with great interest. Let the adventure begin.

Hi Garry. I thought the polar bears were bigger than the ones in your photos. Maybe it is a trick of perspective with the camera. We are expecting another over thirthy degree day tomorrow. Hope you have taken a fridge with you to stop the north pole melting. I have written five of my reports. It is hard work. You have done very well to finish yours. Tha gives me an idea. MAybe I could use your comments?????? All the best Stephen
