Ive started this blog to share my adventures and to share travel tips ive learnt along the way to hopefully help others out who take the plunge into the unknown.

At age 19 i booked a flight to London for a 4 week europe trip. I fell in love immediatly and came home wanting to go again, but before i new it I fell back into normal day to day routine.

2 years later i flew to Europe again on a return ticket where i returned to Australia and made a promise to myself that i would leave everything and just go until i cant go any further. However once again I fell back into day to day routine, a routine that guarenteed safety and comfort.

Then one day something clicked. i said to myself is this the life you really want at the age of 22? Monday to Friday 9-5? I had seen family and friends take the plunge and ended up all over the world seeing things i could only dream of, yet i still wasnt quiet sure if buying that one way ticket would work out for me. " As if im that adventurious, as if i could end up in those places, i will probably go for a few months and once im done just return and get another full time job." i said to myself! "How bad do i want it?" "Will I regret it at the age of 30 if i didnt try?" all these things went through my head! it was when i said if at the age of 30 I'm married with kids and not have done what deep down i wanted that i new i would have regretted the decision to stay.

So there it was 24hours later i had booked a one way ticket to New York City! which brings me to now.....16 months later i sit on my hostel bed in Barcelona reflecting on everything i have accomplished during this time! Working at a summer camp in the US as a tennis coach, travelling through 15 states of America, Working as a hotel front desk agent at a ski Resort in Canada, waitressing while living in Vancouver, covering 3 proviences of Canada, travelled through 9 countries of Europe, worked for a week on a boat in Spain and have just booked a return ticket to Canada where I have a breif plan to stay based to earn more money in hope of travelling to South America next year!!!! If someone had told me i would have acheived all of this during my past 16 months i would never have beleived them nore would i have beleived them in saying how many amazing and life changing people i would come across!

Ill say one things. I didnt know how to do it but i did know that to get started i just had to book that one way ticket and from there ive taught myself!!
