So I'm home again and failed to maintain my blog
I did keep a written journal though and now find myself with nothing better to do than do type it up, I think I will do it place by place..
Heathrow International Airport, London
"Why not?"
"You have no proof you're leaving Vietnam"
So after everything, I wasn't going to be allowed on my flight to Hanoi because I had a one way ticket. I was asked to step out of the queue and I frantically tried to book a train out of Vietnam. Of course the WiFi wouldn't work on my tablet and time was running out. After begging and crying, they allowed my on the flight telling me that I wouldn't be allowed continue on to Hanoi without proof that I was leaving the Country. Quite relieved, I boarded the Airbus A380 which I had heard so much about from my brother, airplane enthusiast. I was disappointed to be honest. It was cramped and the food was dire. Apparently it was the airline that had the problem with me boarding the flight, not Heathrow Airport or Vietnamese Immigration .I just doesn't see how it would be the airlines problem if I overstayed my visa. Time to name and shame the Airline: Malaysian Airlines. Far from a positive experience but I digress.
I was sitting beside a girl from Northern Ireland who actually had the same problem but managed to get her father to book her a ticket out of the country. She was actually going to Cambodia from Kuala Luampar though. Flying out to somewhere is always worse than coming back I think, there's too much excitement.
