Spaaaaain tour 2012!

To celebrate the end of the 1st semester, my ever so loving guest mom organized a little trip to Spain! I had the choice between deciding whether we go to Italy or Spain. I chose Spain because we were going to Italy anyway during the Euro tour on May 2013 with the other exchange students and Spain wasn't on the list. I didn't really want double the visit plus I've never been to Spain. Well, maybe 5 years ago back in the summer of 2009. I was with my family for a vacation in France yet we had the chance to drive through the countryside until we cam across but San Sebastian, a little city located between the border between Spain & Southern France. There wasn't really much to see there (not very metropolitan nor historical) maybe except the 2 parallel cathedrals. The people and the portrayal of the Spaniard way of living interested me most and I promised myself that I'd go back and explore further the rest of Spain.

I was also allowed to bring a friend with me so I chose Paola, a girl from Mexico who turned out to be one of my bestfriends and who has been like a sister to me. Other exchange students were invited too like Jon (USA) & Rodrigo (Peru). Luckily, everyone was allowed both by their host parents & real parents, trusting a single adult to accomodate as all. I feel sorry for Antje (my hostmom) because she'll have to handle us being a pain in the ass.
