Arriving in Adelaide was fairly standard apart from the sadist train driver, he seemed to turn Chinese. Traveling at break neck speed scaring the holy hell out of us, leading to a disturbed sleep. All in the interest of getting us there on time. On second thoughts arriving on time is not like the Chinese so he must have been half Chinese half Aussie. After collecting our bags and saying goodbye to our new found friends we found the first open WiFi we could in the train station. 3 days of no internet was a struggle for us. One unnamed member even sufffered mild cabin fever persitantly tapping on the window shouting "kannnngaaarrroooo" for entertainment. A short journey from the station saw us at our first YHA hostel and it certainly was an improvement over the Witches Hat in Perth.
Luckily we were allowed to check in at 9am so we headed for a nap before venturing in to town to post our parcel. Successfully posted we headed to the Central Markets and Supermaket excited to find food to finally cook for ourselfs. We were getting a bit sick of restaurants now! The rest of the day was rather laid back as we settled in to our new resisdence, only to find the air con broken and constantly pumping heat in! After talking to reception they were able to change our room and we ended up with a balcony and working air con.
