Its quite a shame that Buenos Aires didnt live up to its reputation for us. We decided to leave for Chile and cut our losses and try and go skiing in the Andes. We booked a bus from Buenos Aires to Santiago upgrading to the slightly better seats.

We had a whole day to waste in the city and so what better thing to do then go sit in an Irish bar and drink beer. The beer is seriously good as is the wine. There is definately no way we are cutting out the booze on this trip when it is cheaper to dring wine then coke.

We finally got the bus in the evening and settled down in what had to be the best bus I have ever travelled on......the seats lay down and everything! The bus driver was slightly crazy but hey I managed to sleep once again much to mikes irritation !!
