Really sorry that the last lot of pics doesnt seem to be working, not quite sure what happened there - the joy of peruvian internet cafes! I will pop those ones up again asap!

I am in Cuzco at the moment, definately one of the best cities I have seen so far in Peru. And the weather is still gorgeous during the day (although freeezing at night!) I am back down at 3200m altitude here now so makes breathing slightly easier again although this wont last for long as I am embarking on the Inca trek this weekend and that takes us back up to over 4000m. Tomorrow I am going to the Sacred Valley and from there heading to the start of the trek at 6am on Saturday morning. We cover the total length of the trek over 4 days and 3 camping nights, with the final day being a 4am start from the campsite to walk the last bit to the Sun Gate and then on to the Machu Picchu ruins, the grand finale of the trek. We spend the day there before getting the train back here to Cuzco on Tuesday night. Excited about the trek but also slightly nervous as is very steep and with sheer cliff edges, will undoudtedly be a huge challenge for us all at such high altitudes but well worth it i´m sure and we have hired walking sticks to help us out.

After the trek its Amazon jungle time so plenty still to look forward to!!

Miss everyone so so much though, the last few days have been tough. Thanks so much for all your messages, texts and emails though, it is so lovely to hear from you all.
