Just got to the Poseidon Hotel. The plane trip seemed so fast compared to the other flights I have been on. So far, Greek people have been very friendly aside from the people who are working haha.
I can't check into my room because they have had a power shortage and it is so hot in here. 35 degrees! I don't know how long I will be waiting here for but I just want to get to bed as it's nearly 3am Sydney time and I haven't slept for hours and hours. I'm not in the best mood now after over 40 hours of travelling and I'm made to sit in a hotel lobby.
There is a dog across the road that looks exactly like Joey! I'll take a photo of him if he is still there when I go past with my camera. He's really cute. There are a few dogs just laying on the pavement across the road but they don't look malnourished they seem pretty happy which is nice. The hotel is right on the ocean. From what I can tell by the lobby, it's a really nice hotel.

Mum Hi Annie Glad to see you've made it to Greece. By now you will be sleeping your day away, hopefully your room is air conditioned. Glad your first impressions of Greece are warm and friendly, but beware of the dogs, remember Katrina's experience? Dad still laughs about her stories of the Greek dogs. Catch you later and rest up. Dad Glad to hear you made it safely to Greece Annie. Take plenty of photo's as I would like to visit one day. Hopefully you have air-con and cold beer (always works for me). I will write again after Souths game later tonight!
Annie Hey guys! I have air conditioning!! and i also have a balcony which is nice so i'm not just cramped up in my room. I got about 11 hours sleep i think! it's just after 7am now so i slept through the night which is a good thing for any jet lag that i might get. I won't pat any of the dogs but it 's difficult not to because they're so cute! And i accidentally left my travel pack that i made for myself at the airport when i was trying to find the bus and i realized when i got onto the bus but i didn't want to get off it because then i'd have to wait heaps long for another bus so dad are you able to photocopy the pack i gave you and send it through to my email so that i can print it? It's easy to send it through as one document, mum can show you! Security at both Greece and London was great they didn't scan bags or anything...just looked at my passport and stamped it! and my bag came out pretty much first each time :) I've had a good sleep and am looking forward to going for a swim today! My camera isn't connecting to my computer at all unfortunately, so i will take lots of photos but will have to ask someone in my contiki group if i can use their camera to put my sim card in and upload pictures so it could be another week or so xox
Dad Moanly to good tonight Annie winning 23 - 6. No big deal though as it was close for most of the game and we have plenty of improvement. Enjoy contiki and update when youncan. Love you heaps!
