Finally got the chance to read this gastronomic blog and now trying to work out how to make a cheese fondue filled pancake. Can we have some recipes please?
Also, how would "Baltica" lager fare in the Prestigious Lager World Cup (Battersea 2006) Dave? I think a rating for each lager tasted is in order.
You sound like you're having a great time, looking forward to hearing more. Finally, as the weekend's upon us I wonder whether there'll be a report from one of these shortly:
Sep 16, 2006 Premier League Torpedo Moscow v Rostov
Sep 17, 2006 Premier League Lokomotiv Moscow v Spartak Moscow (local derby!)
Sep 17, 2006 Premier League Dinamo Moscow v Amkar

PS Glos got promoted in the Pro40, which I'm sure you're really happy to hear Dave. We were helped to a tremendous victory at the Oval on Tuesday night by a great innings by a Victorian, Ian Harvey, so there is a bit of relevance (mind you, he wants a British passport...)

You guys are a hoot!
Just wanted to pass on my only CLEAN Russian phrase...
DOB-RAY OOT-TRA (roll the rrrrrrr's) means good morning!
The Russian team only teaches us the bad words! Look out for the Russian maffia!

Nice one Dave. I wasn't surprised to see you started off by complaining at paying more than the locals to enter somewhere and then moved on to food. It's like you were standing in front of me.
Keep up the good reporting and have fun.
Avoid Dostoevskys Crime And Punishment Cafe, and keep making Notes From The Undergroud.
Ahhhhh one pun after another.
When you get back, explain to Ian that the World is now round so you can go both ways :)
All best!

Great to read about your adventures so far - can't believe Annie didn't let you pack your Rovers programmes (o:
Just one thing though - looking at the red spot on the map, are you not going slightly the wrong way for Oz?
