Hello!

So i have now been in Perth for 4 days. Friday and Saturday were lovely and hot but since then it's cooled down a bit - only 20 now :P

Arrived Friday early morning and after waiting 45 minutes for my suitcase, finally left the airport. I'd never seen the house before as my parents had moved just after i left last January, so was good to finally see it. Dad went to work and mum i drove around for a bit handing out my cvs and boom, a few hours later already had 4 trial shifts lined up - one for that night!

Saturday morning we went whale watching, was pretty cool. Took a boat out from Freemantle and spent 2 hours on the Ocean watching for the whales. They weren't particularly active so we didn't see any of them jumping or anything but they still swam around quite a bit. They're massive!

Saturday night was Chinese at my cousin Naomi's house with all the family, a late celebration for my Auntie Pat and Uncle Tony's birthdays. Got to see baby Griffin for the first time too.

Sunday had trial number 2, at my local yacht club. I think i will take that job, as Friday's was at a restaurant and wasn't paying as much. The yacht club pays more $23/hour on the weekend!! (15 pounds!) Plus, as my mother loves pointing out, the views are spectacular.

Tonight am joining my mother at zumba. Let's see how that goes.. she's probably way better at it than i am, we all know how great at dancing i am!!
