Well, we are back home to the reality of life again. We didn't get the chance to update our last few adventures in Italy.
We did the bike ride above Cinque Terre on Sept 27th, it was a beautiful ride with great drop offs down to the towns. It was interesting seeing the towns from up above. We then went towards Rome and spent two days in San Gimignano. We had a great campsite there, very friendly staff and really nice location in Tuscany. It was a close drive to the agriturismo Fattoria Poggio Alloro that was recommended by Krista. We spent one day just relaxing and we wandered through the small town centre. We played tourists for the day and I got my cycling Italia bike kit in the town. Dinner was amazing at the agriturismo.
Then we headed back to Rome for the last night in Italy. We did some shopping along the way and Chiara got her bike kit at a really nice bike shop just outisde of San Gimignano. We made it to our originial campsite for the last night near the airport. We trained into Rome and played tourist again shopping and wandering the town. We had a great dinner for our last night at a Trattori da Lucia that said in the reviews "You eat what we serve you". It was a good meal with many courses and all traditional Roman food.
Then we made our long journey home the next day... and now it's back to reality.

Chiara ...hmm funny that Anna does not mention that along with the drop offs to the towns, there were a few interesting "rides up" on what she had told me was a relatively flat ride :-).
Anna Yah, forgot to mention the what felt like a 13-14% grade hill just like I "forgot" what I read about the ride :)
