Today we left St-Jean-Cap-Ferran at 8am and left for Corsica. As high winds were due in the afternoon we had to leave early.
The journey took us 5 hours at 19 knots, I couldn't even work as the yacht was bumping around so much it knocked me off of my feet.
The owner and the captain thought that it would be amusing to take advantage of my blonde nature, as they knew I was emailing Ami they thought it would be amusing to say that we were going to go skiing tomorrow (even though its 30 degrees!!) like a complete mug I fell for it and emailed Ami to tell her - what a k*** ! Ami I bet you'll laugh your ass off when you read this - the only skiing I will be doing if any is bloody water skiing!
We got to Corsica at 1pm and the weather was so hot, as per usual the owners got unneccesarily stresed when we were coming into the marina and the owners wife elbowed and shoved me out of the way at one point- I bit my tongue and went below deck to do some more work.
In the evening the owner took us out for a meal with his guests, the restaurant was amazing and I nearly fell off my chair when one of the four bottles of wine he ordered was 290 euros, thats without the champagne apertif!! I had scallops and crevette starter with a fillet of beef with what I thought was foie gras on it - little did I know it was a goose liver - no one was allowed to mention the L word until I had eaten it as knew I would gag! Although pate is made from liver the whole thing for me is psychological and if I know I am eating L in its normal form I will be sick!!!
The meal was rounded off with lemon celo which I managed to tip over the entire table - great you can't take me anywhere !!
Oh and did I forget ot mention that I also melted the guests bikini bottoms today when I decide to iron them - don't even ask why, i don't know myself!!
