we have just come off the beach for the last time, as we are leaving bali tonight to go to new zealand. have been a bit slack in keeping this updated so will just give you a brief overview of what we have been up to!! after we left lovina we headed to Ubud which is in the center of bali. it is a very cultural place andhas loads of lovely shops was also a really busy little place. stayed in a gorgous place with a pool and ornate gardens for about 2 pound each a night with breakfast and this was one of the more expensive places!! while we were there we went on a siver smithing course and made our own jewellery which was cool. Then we moved on to Pading Bi which is on the east coast it hasd the best beachs so far with loads of great snorkelling as has loads of coral. the locals are also a little crazy and love bob marley - seems to be a common theme lots of little reggae bars along the beach to sit and drink ice cold bin tang (local beer) which watching the sun set!! we also stayed in crazy loft hut thing which we had a to climb up into a trap door to get into which was funny. We then went to Sanur which is just down the coast, really lovely beaches here, however lots of quite upmarket hotels so it was a little pricer and was full of oaps much fun!! So we are now back in Kuta where we have been for 3 days, the weather has been goood so we have been mostly chillin on the beach trying to top up our tans, as in other parts it has been very wet, when they say rainy season they mean it, have it is always very hot. ceri and also have a surfing lesson yesterday and both of use managed to stand up yeah, however faCe got burnt to bits although i did have suncream on obviously need block. so now have a few blisters on face very attractive. looking forward to going to new zealand now however have just heard its only about 19 degrees oh no!!!
