Anna's travels......
More sight seeing. Went to a Palermo, it had a market on with lots of cheap girls clothes!! (Andy looked thrilled to bits) I was looking for ages. But decided not to get anything.
There is a main sqaure in Palermo Viejo and all around it there are bars and restuarants. Really nice area. Gets lively at night.
Afterwards went to the parks, Jardin Botanico, Jardin Japones, Parque 3 De Febrero. In the park we saw the funniest sight - 3 old guys, about 80yrs old, in their pants playing football. They were really fit also, running round like they were 18. Check out the photos of the tight pants. When they saw me taking pictures, one of the old guys started showing off and doing handstand. haha
Neil, Andy, Mitch, Jeremy and I went out on a rather large one tonight. Went to a really cool club called Rumi. Really nice but probably not for a back packers budget. Though it was happy hour on cocktails, nice. Because of the Health and Safety Checks still going on, for some reason this club was allowed to be open, play music, but noone was allowed to dance?? Strange. So we left there as we heard about a club out of town called Sunset. It was an open air club, had a few different rooms, chill out areas etc. Holds about 4000 people. Fantastic night. Everyone was on top form. Neil and Andy were chatting (sorry, trying) to chat up the Argentina girls. We didn't see Jeremy all night?? Lost Mitch too. I found Andy about 5am asleep on a step!! I woke him up and we all managed to continue untill 7.30am. Went and had breakfast afterwards with some locals that we met. People here are really nice.
Got back to hostel about 8.30am. Wicked night!
