Hello, just in our hostel which isnt too special before leaving for Bangkok this afternoon. Had an awesome couple of days but really busy. Didnt get off to a great start when we could hardly carry our rucksacks and then couldnt find the hostel. In the end it turned out to be on the 7th floor on some dodgy backstreet. Also had a few issues with currency after thinking we were paying 15 pounds for pasta when really is was about 3, oops!! I dont think we're the best backpackers.

Its warm but not really hot, I think the locals find it freezing as they're really wrapped up while we're in dresses making the most of the slightest bit of sun.

We've spent some time here on Kowloon Island which is really traditional and Chinese. Hong Kong Island is more touristy and western with massive hotels and shopping plazas. Cheap markets on Kowloon are good though, i bought a Harry Potter watch which will probably break any moment.

We also went to a theme park on the South shore of Hong Kong island. The rides were pretty good and also had a dolphin and sea lion show. The best bit was a cable car ride with views over the ocean and mountians.

Anyway hope thats given everyone an idea of what we've been up to!! Seems like we've been away forever already. Bangkok next and then some jungle trekking
