hey

just thought i would send you an update...possibly even my last one actually as i am of for my month in the south pacific on tuesday and i will be too busy on a beach to look at a computer!!!

So my time in new Zealand is nearly up and i am very upset about it. had such a wonderful time...have loved everything about the place, met some fantastic people and done things i never thought i would. Yes i did do a skydive and there is photographic evidence on my website for those who find it hard to believe. We also went zorbing which was so funny. Its like being a hamster in a giant ball rolling down a hill, apart from the zorb is full of water..so funny we had to do it a second time.

We also went to Routorua...the place that stinks of egg!!! its full of mud pools, hot spas and sulphur pools. a very interesting place. When we were there we went to a mauri night which was cool. saw them do the haka and ate Hangi their traditional food.

I was also lucky enough to meet my granddads brother and his family who live over here in the bay of plenty. We stayed with them for a weekend. Had a great time being looked after and finding out bout that side fo the famiy.

For the last week or so we hired a car and drove up to the far north. We went on a day cruise around the bay of islands. We were supposed to swim with dolphins but unfortunately the only ones we found had babies with them and you cant swim with the babies. Vanessa was not too worried tho, the day before she went diving and 4 killer whales joined them. I think swimming with orcas will be a highlight of her trip if not life!!!

Well thats just a little bit of what i have been up to. We are of to fiji for 10 days then cook islands and Tahiti.
I arrive back into Durham Tees Valley 6pm Thursday 1st of march. For those of you who live in driving distance get it in your diary...welcome home drinks at 73 next to the tree( hope thats ok mam)
