A little sad as we have now finished our Aussie adventure but can't wait for the New Zealand ones to begin ... And due to a slight mix up they have as we land at 5.40pm and the office to collect the van shut at 4pm!We soon find somewhere lovely to stay and they even offer us a cheap feed at the near by working mens club! So off we go with our maps and lonely planet in hand, ready to set to work on a plan of action. A yummy and cheap tea eaten, and cheap drinks too! We got chatting to 3 guys who are working as plumbers to help after the earthquakes and they have very kindly offered to take us into the red zone when we get back. They also inform us we can become members of the working mens club and this means we can use it anywhere in the world to get into a club. So we leave at the end of the night members, with a rough plan of action for or travels and a kind offer to go where you need special permission to in the city.
