well i have now been here 8 days but it seems like a life time! still missing home and everyone so much!

ok in my first weeks i had 2 different groups of kids the first lot arrived on sunday and went home tuesday afternoon the group was around 10 kids which gave me wednesday night off which was so nice cause some of us slept in the staff lodge instead of in tents! then the next group of 16 kids arrived on wednesday morning and went home on friday, there group was called something like horsing around so we had a field trip out to a ranch! so there was about 5 internationals and1 american that stayed on site so we moved into the enmier centre and slept there for 2nights and on saturday we just got up late laized around sunbathed by the pool where i got nicely burnt! anyway the next group of kids arriived yesterday afternoon and there are only 6 of them which is quiet this group is something to do native americans and i can't remeber the name powertines or something so we have 2 fields trips planned for this week 1 to james town and i think the second is to york town but not entiley sure! this week i am going to try and do a daily update but i will see how it goes!

today we are just on camp, we have got canoeing, swimming, arts and crafts on the adjender and lots more i think, also i think it is all camp tonight where all the units get together and have some sort of big activities!

oh yeh last night there was forcasted a big storm and again for today! last night we had heavy rain, thunder lightning and rain! apparently its a big thing in girlscouts over here that if it is thundering your not allowed to take a shower! but who knew that? lol

what else can i say urm, it is so so different from guiding in the uk! they sing loads of songs all the time so i am starting to write some of these down so i can try to remeber these! urm they sing and shout while we are eating hmm! there is so much! but i am just starting to get into the swing of things but look forward to the weekends we can just chill out and not sleep in tents!

i miss home! ok i know the weather is worse but i still miss it and my mums cooking and my shower and bed i don't think anything can beat that!

oh yeh i think there is a group of us flying down to miami to chill on the beaches for a few days, then there is a group heading up tonew york for the 29th august then i am thinking of heading to new york and flying home on the 8th september which will give me 3 weeks travelling! so i will have been gone for 11 weeks that still seems so long!

its independents day this weekend so i think we are going to watch some fireworks somewherei think! and i may also be going to bushgardens aswell! :D

anyway i willtry to keep this a bit more updated keep me up to date on all the goss at home and leave me messages!let me know what you think!
