Goodbye Coconut
I spent my last 6 hours in Phu Quoc contemplating life and wondering how I would live without at least one fresh coconut a day. Of course the best way to do this was to have one over lunch.
Earlier that morning we had been back in the sea for one last swim. The water was full of little fish and crabs, I managed to escape with all my toes in check but Tash got stung by something unidentifiable but lived to tell the tale.
I wonder how Phu Quoc will be in the future. They built a new international airport in 2012 which doesn't currently have any international flights. When you drive around the roads are a mix of complete, in construction (but look like they have been left) and non existent.
Something we had noticed during our time in Vietnam is that Lemons do not exist there. If you ask for lemons with soda water you get limes. I don't even remember what a lemon looks like!
Coconuts consumed in Phu Quoc: 6
Temple count: 62
Hours travelled: 63
