Island Resting
I thought I would spare writing about the last three days individually, as they pretty much followed this pattern; Breakfast > Beach > Lunch > Pool & Drinks > Dinner and not much else (which was great by the way).
We have been pretty lucky with the beach that's close to the hotel, hardly any people around so it felt good. The sand in the water is really 'squidgy' and black though - odd to walk in.
Interesting dinners to note; some chilli stir fried crocodile was good, and I had shark for the first time (not sure how you would know the difference between that and another white fish though). We ate at a resturant a taxi journey away from the hotel on nights 2 & 3, ran by a husband and wife, they were really friendly.
On the Sunday we spent 4 hours in the hotel spa, as they had a special deal on (£35 for as many treatments as you could fit in). I've never had anything but a massage in a spa before so it was good to try some others things (body scrub, facial and foot scrub).
