Fabulous Las Vegas!
Vegas is almost done - last day today!
So here is a little bit about what we have done so far:
Monday - We met Lindsay and Peter for the World famous Flamingo Hotel Breakfast Buffet (The Home of Donnie and Marie) and after pancakes and syrup, chocolate fountain strawberries and donuts - well while in Rome, we headed to the Wynn Hotel pool. Chilled out for the afternoon while the stunning bikini clad waitresses brought us drinks - not a real boob, nail or head of hair in sight! The Strawberry Dhakiri's were a hit with the boys and they cooled down in the pool from the 110 degree heat!
Later we headed to the Fashion Show Mall where we had a couple of little purchases just to get us in the mood from Macy's, Diesel & Kenneth Cole, followed by the most AMAziNG Italian food and Apple Martini's in Matriano's. A couple of drinks later in The Mirage's Rhum Bar while DJ Rodney entertained us (yes I am serious!) and it was time for bed.
Tuesday - A light breakfast in the cobbled streets of Gay Paris - croisants and coffee followed by some Gambling at the slot machines was the perfect way to start Tuesday. Again folowed by chilling at Lindsay and Peters pool. Sopme fabulous sandwishes at the Wynn Deli for lunch while the boys watched some World Cup Footie action on the massive TV screens. After some more sun and cocktails it was time to get ready to head Downtown to Freemont Street.
Tony Romas Steak House was the venue for another amazing meal after we wondered through the Worlds Biggest tatt souvenir shops - think Blackpool but 1 billion tomes bigger and brighter! The roof light show was out of this world and as we watched it from the outside cafe at Krispy Kreme Donut factory - it was even sweeter! A few drinks or several Sambuca's later in Finn's we were dancing to an amazing band called The Allstars. They played everything from Vanilla Ice to George Michael to Usher! AMAZING! I little taxi ride back to the Strip and into Treasure Island's Kahoonaville Party Bar for a last cocktail for the road and Oh My God it was 3am and time for bed! This city really does not sleep as we could have had a 3 course meal in Paris Le Cafe before bed - but we resisted!
Wednesday - A change of senery today as L&P headed to us to spend the day relaxing under the Eiffel Tower. A little room service breakfast of Pancakes and Eggs Benedict set us up for the day. Another day of sunning in the 109 degree heat was really relaxing and after some lunch it was time to head up the Eiffel Tower to overlook the Strip from a birds eye view.
Dinner of Pizza and then we hit the Bellagio for Bellini's before Cirque Du Soleil "O". I actually cannot put into words or describe the magnificance of this production. It really was out of this world. We had amazing seats and enjoyed every moment as the acrobats performed above us and swam below us.
A stroll through Planet Hollywood back to Paris for a little beer at the casino and another day was over.
Today its outlet shopping so time to really flex the plastic.
We are having such a good time and really looking forward to our last day here before we head off to San Diego tomorrow.
