Soph: Thank god we are still alive! Andy: So much pain!!!!!!
What a day! It truly was the hack of certain doom!! My god, i´ve never seen anyone so petrified as Andy as his horse shot from 0 - 60 in 2 seconds! I was crying with laughter and still am every time i think about it!!! ...not sure andy feels the same way ...he has blisters on his hands in the shape of the saddle he was clinging on to!!! oops.
*Andy is currently looking for any woman who has no interest whatsoever in horses *
Teehee! Anyway, atleast I´ve disabled him for a few days - he wanted to go white water rafting down a GRADE 4 RIVER!!!! I´ve placated him with the notion that there are bigger and better ones in Cusco!!! hmmm.
Think we´ll leave the horse riding for a month or two - i have to say i was pooing myself to start with - we had absolutely no control over the horses and we only realised AFTER the first hair-raising gallop that the guide would put his hand in the air when we were going to go at warp speed!
Oh well, it´s all character building! (and arse bruising, and heart attack inducing)
Think we are off to Riobamba tomorrow to catch a ride down the ´devils nose´ train track! WOOHOO! And yes mum, it is the one were you sit on the roof - dont worry, if we can survive today we can survive ANYTHING!!!!!
