hey everyone.
We know its been a while since our last blog but cant help being beach bums. We crossed the border into NSW and something seemed to happen to Australia - rain. The weather in NSW was stark contrast from QLD. It was cloudy the majority of the time with the odd down pour. Things didnt get off to the greatest start with the $136 parking ticket in Byron bay. But the views from the lighthouse soon put a smile back on our faces. Beautiful, just like so much of oz. Our highlights of NSW were Byron Bay although it rained alot, Coff's harbour the romantic walks agong the jetty plus fish and chips, Forster with amazing turquoise water, stunning, Sdyney and the drive through Kangaroo Valley.
Sydney was so awesome. We both agreed it was the best city we have visited on our travels. It has a great vibe, and seeing the poera House is a pinch ourselves moment. we never would off thought years ago we would be here and still now we are still amazed we are travelling, just sitting on a bench and snapping away on the camera, watching the world go by. Its them moments you realise how lucky we are and how the trip has been so worth it. Walking over the harbour bridge was really cool and going for tea and cake at The Rocks afterwards, plus just walking around the city. We also visited Manly via ferry from circular quay, Bondi beach and the blue mountains. Unfortunately the Blue Mountains was a complete wash out and couldnt see anything.
On our jouney south to Victoria we went to Canberra, the capital city. The drive to and from was a real pleasure, great scenery, probably the best up to now i think. Canberra was well worth the visit too, We enjoyed the parlimentary zone and its parks as well as Austalia museum and the war memorial. We then headed back to the coast and on to victoria. Good bye grey weather. Hello erm well grey weather??...
