Hello...well after a brief excursion over to Malaysia I am back in Thailand...I think I was getting homesick! I am pleased I took the trip to Malaysia....although it was brief it was fruitful. As well as getting to see the Oran-utans, and going to the Malaysian F1 GP, I have also found a few places I would like to visit again so it provides some ideas for a future trip!!! In particular I was very impressed with Borneo. The country has a limited tourism trade at present but this is growing slowly but surely. The people were extremely friendly and the city of Kuching was a great place with a very "steady" pace of life! Plans from here....well I hope to make an assault on the islands having aborted my previous attempt. Phi Phi, as always, is high on the list but there are some other places that are far less populated and equally appealing that I would like to try and visit too. I will keep you posted as to my progress.... There should be some new pictures in the library to see providing I can get them uploaded now....!
