Bondi baby
What a week it has been since I left Tansen. I am now sat in suburb Bondi, famous for its beach and great surf. Out here they call it winter, I call it a goreous summers day. We arrived yesterday and 4 of us (dan, chan otto and myself) are staying at one of my best friends from schools house (Bill). This has given me a slightly larger pot of money to work with, which for those of you who know the eastcoast, is much needed as everything is so expensive. We went out into town last night and partied the night away, had a real blast. We are just soaking up the delights of Bondi today and 'frolicking' on the beech. Soon we are to go to a bar and enjoy the New zealand vs Australia game with a few beers and great company. Jealous? Tomorrow we are getting the ferry to manley, will see the opera house and Darling harbour, anjoy fish and chips and go to the Manly St George game. So good.
As some of you will know my delightful mother came and spent my last few days with me in Nepal. We had such a lovely time and she spoiled me a little bit. We met some lovely people and enjoyed each others company. We then moved on to Bangkok for a couple of days, going via Dehli. Never will I go via Dehli for anything again, even if I have to pay extortionately to avoid it. Missing our connection on to Bangkok, we were left in limbo with no way of going back through customs but no valid boarding passes with which to procede. 13 hours later we were headed on our way after some very poor treatment.
Bangkok was like nothing I had ever seen and I would love to explore Thailand more. Rembrandt hotel, great food and shopping, enough said!
The game is soon to start and a cool pint of draft sits on my table. Its time to leave!!! Keep reading
