A great sunday in the Capital.
I got up to go down to Kathmandu international church with Anne and Alan Penn. It was a great environement to meet people doing similar things and with a real heart for mission in a country with such need. It really revved me up for my trip. When i was asked to introduce myself on the microphone and said I was from newcastle I got some serious whoops! The geordies are everywhere and we chatted happily afterwards about the mighty toon!
Afterwards I was invited out for lunch (about 50 of us went down) to a pretty western place. I devoured a chicken and jalepeno pizza in a matter of seconds. We then went next door for a cheeky desert. i made some amazing friends today. People from all over the world doing all sorts of different things. We hung out all day at Suzies house which was so fun. It was great to hang out with you guys if you are reading this (Jon, ali, amanda, suzie, lauren). You guys are awesome and hope to see you again before I leave to go to Tansen. stay in touch!
Ity has been a ridiculously hot day today, 40 degrees, humid with the odd spot of rain.
Meeting a lad called Tom tomorrow, he's a yank from Cali and were going for some lunch and a mooch round town. We are going to enquire about hiring some motorbikes and maybe heading out to the tibet border (mum don't read that bit). Or maybe we will try and find the place that organises the bunjee jump, 3rd highest in the world. We'll see what happens.
Anyway guys, stay in touch, God Bless

Vijay Kunadian Hi Andrew, Great to hear that you arrived safe and have already done so much. Matthew 5:16 Shine your light before these men so that they will see your deeds and praise your Father in heaven. What a great opportunity and I am sure that you would make the most of it all! Look forward to hearing more of all the amazing things that God has in store for you. God bless you and take care!

Rick Andrew, Have you taught anyone to juggle yet? More seriously, we pray for you and your "journey." God is opening up the cultures of the world to you. Enjoy! However, keep a keen eye about you, for the "threads" God is no doubt weaving. "In his heart a man plans his course, but it is the Lord who determines his steps." God bless and keep you.
