I love how hot it is here! (minus carrying 12 kilo bags our backs :/ ). Wish scottish summers were like these :) Had an awesome sleep, only woke up once or twice :) had a nice breakfast, croissants were yum! Got the hang of the busses into town though old people mumbling questions in French to me was not good! Carcassonne was a lot bigger than I expected was really pretty with a HUGE castle. The train to Narbonne had uber comfy seats. I is a happy sophie :) Can't wait for Barcelona so hope they have people that speak English as neither of us speak or understand any Spanish. Oopsie :p Narbonne is a strangely small. Not a lot to do here. Sitting sunbathing in the park after some munch :) Got a cathedral to see to pass time for a few hours before our next train. Andrew is super excited about our 4 hour train ride, bless :p which wasn't that good :( train is the photo attached! SUCKAGE and it wasn't high speed!

It was really humid in Barcelona! Sucks rather epicly, u get some major sweatge after like 10 minutes of walking! Our train to Barcelona from narbonne wasn't high speed :/ took forever! And after we crosses the spainish border it didn't get any faster never seemed to be the same! Then we got to barcalona at like half 8 so it was already dark :/ looked kinda crap on the way in, mega vandalism all over the place :P kinda like an abanon'd town would look lmao was hectic by the time we got there it was 8.30 so got to metro to buy tickets and they info guy was telling us to watch out for pick pockets so for the rest of the trips on the subway Sophie has my stuff lmao :P got to the hostel and met a bunch of people they were accelerated masters students studying in Rome but were from all over the place! A south African, a pole, a Indian, a Brazilian, spainaird! They were fun, the met some Irish girls closely followed by 3 canadiens two girls one guy they girls were LOUD lmao but fun :P finially got checked it as the poor girl seemed to have to check in millions of people at the same time, so it ended up being half 10 before we got to dump our stuff and go out onto the hunt for food :D found and Indian joint and it was like 800000000000x hotter in the shop than outside so we shopped afap! Tomoto pasta for dinner it was lol then read some of my book and went to sleep. I believe while I was doing that Sophie was cleaning up dishes and putting her stuff away into the locker, it was a 10 man dorm we shared and it was really awesome :D
Met 2 Californian Asian guys who were pretty cool, one more Asian than the other lol. Chatted to them for a bit then I went to play pool with them while Sophie red for a bit. But eventually a whole bunch of people joined in pool so it wasn't really pool just people messing a bout :D then after that sat and chatted with them and this polish guy(different polish guy) who hitch-hiked across Europe with his girl -friend as in the single kind eg friend :P talked together till about one then decided to call it a night and wen.
