And home again.

It's been more than a week since I'm back. This'll be my last entry for this trip.

I was glad to get home.

At the Dublin airport, in the customs line for going into the States I made the mistake of answering truthfully that I'd visited a working farm and had handled livestock. I mean, a huge amount of Ireland is working farmland.

So I got called aside into another room, where I told the officer that I'd patted a mule and an Irish Wolfhound, a working dog 'and just the other night a dog outside of a liquor store'. He neither seemed impressed, smiled or in retrospect, even thanked me for my honesty. Didn't ask if that was all.

Back in Los Angeles, with 45 messages on my answering machine I decided to check my iPad for email while deleting junk phone calls. I know, who
Has an answering machine, right? Then I realized I'd forgotten the tablet in the seat pocket. I freakin freaked out, sort of. But anyway, I got it back - to make a long story short.

And today is the Fourth of July. Happy Independence Day everyone.

And yes, I've met my mystery sweetheart. Twice. :-)
