Ironically enough I woke up to 4 extra jackets in our room, mine still being transported to Lucerne after being left at St Goar. When we left the bar downstairs I had collected all the leftover jackets like the responsible person that I am, even if I don't remember it. We had a couple of hours free time in Munich, so step one was buying me a jacket.
Bit of a conundrum, generally all European jackets are good quality and expensive, jackets are big and my luggage is not. This conundrum was solved when we found H&M, a cheap fashion store (think cotton on, but better standard clothes for around the same price). 20€ later I had a warm jacket I could ditch in Europe and not feel bad for.
I haven't even explained the toilet conundrum we kept facing here. Steve might say to you there is a free toilet he will show us in half an hour, but you really need to go, and I mean really need to go, but each toilet might cost you between 50c or 1.50€ euro and involve complex tipping of people in the toilets too. Going to the toilet should not be complicated, especially web your brain is not fully functioning. For those who know Amy, she has a thing for toilets (like the tour guide we had to bath in London). Since you never know where the next toilet will be, or how much, then you always need to be very prepared.
Anyway, in Munich we visited a few cool places. We kind of revisited some of the steps our tour guide had taken us , but this time in the daylight. We revisited the best church I have seen so far, I forget the name of it. All the walls and roof had the most intricate detail and sculpture carvings everywhere. Absolutely breathtaking, and definitely one of my highlights of architecture I have ever experienced. We also visited the food markets which were also pretty cool too.
Eventually we returned to the bus to find out that it was still being checked out by a mechanic as it had a habit of slowing down to about 40kph going up hills, which is a little worrying when you know the speed limit of other vehicles flying by is legally up to 130kph and soon we would be driving through the Swiss Alps, clearly not very hilly there.
Eventually we made it on the bus and made our way to Innsbruck, Austria.
