I hate to admit it but this site is fair superior to the travel site used by Simon Marshall.

When you are fulla's heading to afghanistan? Its wicked. My cave has glow worms and many spectacular stalagmites (or is it stalactites? i can never remember).
If you see GB junior on his holidays while you're down there, buy him a cigar for me. Just bill my paypal account - user name ossyAK47 password ifindnapalmworksbest.

Pells sounds like you might have needed the old wet suit... If not for surfing then for the first day in Rio. At least your luggage didn't get lost on plane, like the last five holidays that you've been on. The trip sound absolutely amazing. You have no idea how jealous I am. Keep in touch. I've lost your email address but drop me a line if you get a chance. Take care of each other. E

Howdy gang. Sounds like the start of your trip was a bit of a nightmare, which is a pity. I reckon you would have loved Santa Theresa had you been a bit less stressed. I loved it and was glad I spent my time up there and not down in Copacabana. Anyway, keep up the blog - I'm impressed so far. Didn't get around to asking, but I assume you're going to Cuzco? I'll drop you an email later anyway.

Dooney, sorry I didn't get tips to you. Illha Grande is meant ot be awesome, we didn't get there. Rio, we stayed in Mellow Yellow backpackers in Copacobana (http://www.mellowyellow.com.br/en/) but then cruised down to a little pension place in Inpanema. Sugar loaf, Corpus Christie, the usuals are great. We did a Favela tour where we wandered right through Rocinha favela- it was a highlight. Used a Tour with "Don't be a Gringo be a local" motto. They have info at Mellow Yellow, so popping in there is good just to gab that info. Tour was very cool. Pier 9-14 at Inpenema was also good down time. Take glasses. Best surf beaches are to the south - tejuica or something like that. Send me your email address and I'll write a proper blurb.
Right, travel safe, and get a rando to take a picture of you as your self takes aren't great mate! just make sure that you can run faster than the person taking the photo.

Hi guys,
Hope the flights etc went well and you're enjoying Rio, have you ticked those three boxes yet Dooney? Look forward to your first posting,
