Well we are know onto our 2nd Island and it is pretty different to Ko Samui. We arrived on the Fri afternoon pretty tired so all we did was take a walk along the beach and sleep. On the 24/1/07 we went on a safari tour round Ko Samui and it was the best day we have had on this trip so far. We were picked up from our beach front bungalow at 9.30 and taken to some rock formations on the beach front. Not the most exciting of starts but the day got so much better from then on. We left Bangkok on 19/01/07 and headed south, by train, to an island called Koh Samui. The train left Bangkok at 7.30 on the Fri night and did not get into our station until 10 am on Saturday. We arrived into Bangkok airport at 3pm Bangkok time. After collecting our bags and avoiding what seemed to be thousands of people asking us if we wanted a taxi, we found the official taxi service and headed to the hotel.
