The countryside in China was awesome. Fom Shanghai went into Yangshuo, which is full of tourists but a really gorgeous little town on the river surrounded by all these limestone karsts. While we were there we stayed in a place called Fawlty Towers! I did a chinese painting lesson, which was really cool and cycled around the local countryside which was beautiful. It was so gorgeous there I didn't want to leave!!

We also went to the Longji rice terraces and did a trek through them between some of the minority villages which was amazing also. It was such stunning scenery and a really cool thing to see. I didnt want to die too much so I must have got fitter with all this exercise!!!

After a night in the terraces we made our way to Hong Kong. Unfortunately we weren't there long but it seems like a fascinating place. Spent most of time on Kowloon which isn't actually on the island but went down to the harbour and took a few pics! It might be a good thing wasnt there long as I could have spent a lot of money there!. Had last night with my tour group in Hong Kong which was fun but a bit sad to be leaving them. Had dinner at a street market and then a few cheeky cocktails at various bars... I then flew to Bangkok today. Its nice to have a bit of peace and quiet but am missing being in a group and was weird going through the airport and stuff on my own. But Im fine and looking forward to the beach!!
