Well, we did alot of walking today..or it seemed it because the heat was almost unbearable, thank god for all the water fountains about the place. Walked down to call on George at his house, but I dont think he was in. Said hi to the snipers on the roof. Walked up to the Washington mounment, its pretty hugeee, then onwards towards the Lincoln memorial at the top of the big long reflecting pool. Just a quick note to say I arrived a few hours ago in DC, just checked into hostel, of for a full days sightseeing on foot 2mrw morning. Just had an Indian from a kebab house across the road, it was awesome. Will see how 2mrw goes..well, tomorrow.
