Well, did alot of walking today in Boston down along the riverside, then went to see The Simpsons movie in a local cinema. On the way back took 15mins out or so to listen to the last few numbers of The Police's second night set at the the Fernway Stadium, heard 'Roxanne' and 'Cant stand loosing you' amongst others. Could hear Sting clear as day, sounded good! Havnt made it into the North side of the city yet but will do 2mrw. Had lunch in the bar used in 'Cheers'...

Well, tuesday night I had got myself tickets to a gig down in Grammery area, downtown Manhatten. It was Glen Hansard (the singer from one of my fav bands, The Frames) and a Czech girl called Marketa Irglova. They were performing songs from their new film 'Once' which has surprised everyone and been a HUGE hit over here, top ten boxoffice etc, after it won the Sundance film festival thingy amongst other things. I still hadnt seen the movie as it only got a limited...

Well, just left New york and have arrived in our 1st hostel in Boston, we are moving again in the morning to another one not far from here. Nice city, very different vibe than to NYC. Arrived in NYC late monday night, having missed my flight! Great start i know. Did alot of exploring on my own on the tuesday, walked all the way down from our hostel up on 103rd of Amsterdam Av, West of Central Park down to Times Sq etc. Amazing.
