Upon reaching the end of the line at Gorak shep, and having a full crystal clear panorma of the Everest range around us, we decided we felt as ok as one can feel at that stage and to capitalise on when the weather semed to be good and ascend Kala Pattar there and then (having just walked 5hrs and already at 5000+m).
