Ok so New York has been everything I've ever wanted to see in a city and more!! I feel like even though I'm so jetlagged and would rather sleep than write this I need to share how much I've seen of this amazing city in ONE DAY!

I woke at around 5am thinking it was noon, this jetlag is weird eh? But I'm determined to beat it, it's like 2.30am atm and I feel like I've been up forever. Anyway, enough of the international travelling b****ing.

After I arrived in Grand Central from a lovely sight seeing adventure on the bus from Newark (haha) at night. Anna and I went adventuring the East Village to which I insisted on getting chicken..standard. Something that has really overwhelmed me since being here is the portion sizes!! I can't finish what i would consider a 'normal' meal, and I never waste good food! Tonight for instance, after going to the Empire for Comic Strip Live (which was hilarious, not as good as British comedy but still pretty good) we had planned $3 margaritas and mexican at 11pm (I know, everything here is open like 24hour!) but ended up in a diner in the Upper East and I'm ashamed to admit I could not finish my huge 7oz burger with bacon. Such a shame for wasting food but I guess now I know that I can get more for my money aka America is cheap woo hoo lol.

I got the cutest shirt from a boutique in East Village (what?? just letting you know!! lol)

Anna and I have done all the touristy things that I consider mega super duper cool; what I think I enjoyed the most was seeing Mamma Mia in the park whilst having lunch from this really cool soup place. Broadway for free over lunch?? I'm doing Manhattan the cheap student way that's for sure! Times Square, froyo, beer pong and the subway I think embody this day of piling in as much of New York as possible.

We went to a really American bar after the comedy club and diner run in, how I can describe it any better I don't know haha. I was enrolled in the beer pong and flip cup games as the clearly unbeatable Irish girl :/
