The Exodis Tour 2008

This week we got back from a 2 weeks 'Exodus' tour, altogether there were 80 brothers and sisters from all over the world, including New Zealand, USA, Canada, Denmark, Singapore, Alaska and the UK! Thne two coach loads toured all around Egypt, Jordan and then Israel. We followed the route the Israelites would have taken and stopped at so many interesting places! To name a few we went to Memphis, Cairo, Mount Sinai, Petra, Mount Nebo (where Moses saw the promised land), Jericho and the walls of Jericho, Gilgal (where the manna ceased and King Saul made sacrifice here, Gath, Bet'che-mesh, E'lah (David and Goliaths battle ground), Lachesh, The Israel Museum (where the dead sea scrolls are), Masadda (Herods city of refuge), Joppa, Emmaus, Caesarea, Megiddo, Tiberius, Sailed o nthe sea of Galilee, Cappernum, Nazareth and so many more!!!

We learnt so much and really helped to see the bible accounts in colour! Along with making so many new friends it really was a trip of a lifetime!!!
