Hello from HongKong!
I think 4 days is more that enough here, everything is in Chinese so I keep getting lost and it's really expensive. There's hardly any other backpackers and the few French people I've met have been pretty unfriendly. I love how clean it is though, all the public door handles get cleaned every two hours! :0)
Yesterday Gemma and I went to see 'Big Buddah'. After walking up the million and one steps and dodging all some of the biggest dragon flies I've ever seen we made it to the top, we were really impressed until we realised it was built in the mid 70s?? There was also a monistary and this famous tree which a some famous man sat under for a few weeks praying then decided to become a monk, its suppose to make wishes come true (they sell wishes for 2 pound). Gemma got all spirital and sat under it praying then we realised it was made of plastic!? The whole place was basically a Disney Land for Buddism, they even had a star bucks and subway. (We left pretty quickly). HK looks so nice at night when it's all lit up, the humidity is abit crazy, I reckon i've done more walking in the past few days than I would in a month at home - constant swetty betty! Actually, I've never been anywhere where I've felt like such a manbeast, I'm at least a foot taller than all the men!! Looking forward to moving on where people are over 5 foot tall!
