Felicity Macdonald-Smith Make sure you go to Fremantle too - one of my favourite places in WA. Great market, lots of cafes (Cappuccino Strip) and lovely colonial buildings in wedding-cake colours.
Amy Awww thanks Emily!!! And Felicity, yes definitely...though I'm holding off doing too many touristy things until I actually have a job and some money...then Feemantle and Rottnest Island are first ports of call :)

Amy Thanks Felicity!! The trip that the guys went on this weekend was actually to Albany, but I'll definitely try and get visiting places once I'm earning :)

Purds Sounds awesome bird, like definitely-not-gonna-make-it-back-by-June sort of awesome. For the Skype issue, download viber (a free app that lets you make calls over the Internet for free). Only works if the other person has viber, but avoids the awkward video call thing. I thought the First Night story was gonna end with you clambering into someone else's bed, so at least you're doing better than my imagination expects from you! And as for the in-flight years - at least you didn't get The Letter. Much love x
Amy Sorry...the idea of paragraphs didn't seem to translate when I pasted this entry...!
re: It's Not Called a 'Working Holiday' for NothingFelicity Macdonald-Smith < I've also decided that now I've got a job, I need to bring the rest of my life into reality...so I'm going on a detox week: no alcohol, more sleep, and I'm going to try and get back into running> And no smoking??? Hmm, thought that was too much to hope for! [Mum mode OFF]
re: Reality Kicking InPauline aukland Glad you are having a great time and we enjoy reading your blogs. Love paul and pauline xx

re: Creepin'Emily St Clair I love reading of your adventures! It sounds like a blast! Miss you lots!
re: Creepin'Rosie Aaaaaaw this is so lovely, I'm just so glad to hear you've fallen on your feet and feel settled already! :) I'm writing this from a Liverpool Travelodge so can't pretend I'm not a teeny bit jealous too! Team Wales love! xxx

re: Landing in ParadiseFelicity Macdonald-Smith Albany is interesting, so do go if you can at some point. Old whaling station, IIRC. Also see if you can get to the karri forest (very tall amazing trees). The Gloucester Tree at Pemberton is famous, and the Valley of the Giants treetop walk, near Denmark.
re: Landing in ParadiseAmy Purds I have viber!! It doesn't work great for calls coz the wifi is a bit dodgy here, but for messaging it's brill. Please message me at some point with a 69 update - I miss you guys x

re: Sweet AsAmy Thanks guys!! I've made it to HK Airport - Ails I drank loads of water, wore flight socks, and was basically dancing in my seat twirling all moveable limbs :). I also survived amazingly well on nicotine lozengers - didn't even feel like I needed a smoke = Felicity, you may be right!! But just had the weirdest experience in HK airport: went for a smoke in the smoking booth and I was literally the only woman and only white person in there. And yes, they all basically just stared at me :S. One hour until flight to Perth - hope I have better luck with my flight neighbour this time! xxxxx p.s. MILO: I spent hours and hours just listening to the Avatar soundtrack!! So relaxing as the whole cabin was dark and we were flying over china and I was just gazing at the mountains and OMG just so beautiful :)
re: R.I.P all things sparkly...Blooms Good luck girly, drink lots of water on the plane and do some leg exercises, it's a long flight! Looking forward to your next post, my aunt's all cool with you visiting, take care darl' xxx
re: R.I.P all things sparkly...Holly Blomfield Goooood luck Amy! Sure you'll have a truly amazing time! I'll be in touch if I'm thinking of heading over and let me know about NZ too :) enjoy the flight! Xxx
