We're here on Phi Phi Island, it's very scenic looking out over the bay with beautiful surroundings. Our room at Mama Beach Residence is by far our best room we've had yet, perfect in every way; clean, smells nice, great air conditioning and to top it off we walk out of our door and right on to the beachfront. The food here is also very nice. Breakfast is ok but the main lunch and dinner menu is really good. We went for a walk to the other side of the island which took a whole 10 minutes as the island is fairly small. We've just been relaxing since arriving here as the weather is scorching so we're shade seeking most of the time so that we don't get sun stroke, which would be very easy to get here. The boat ride here from Phuket was pleasant with great views but being in the sun on the top deck for over an hour was not a good idea. We're off to Phi Phi Leh on Tuesday on a boat trip in which we stay overnight in the bay. We are visiting Maya Bay which is the iconic beach from the film "The Beach" we can't wait! We are going as a large group of about 30 people so should be a good laugh and a way to meet other travellers. Having our last day of relaxing today in which we may even get another Thai massage on the beach :)
