Today we took a walk with some of the people we've met at the hostel across the bridge over to Cambridge. We were going there to look around Harvard. We got to MIT first which is Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and the campus is massive! It took ages before we actually reached Harvard. I think it was around an hour's walk! Fairly quiet walking through Cambridge as most of the students have gone home for Christmas.

I thought Harvard was big in terms of the number of buildings but I thought I would be more impressed by it. Maybe this was because we couldn't actually go into any of the buildings because that tour was cancelled. After this we had a little wander around some of the shops and Kelly and I both treated ourselves to spoon rings from a little market stall we came across which are lovely. of course I spotted a Starbucks so we stopped off for Gingerbread latte and marble cake :) We then headed back to Harvard Bridge just in time to catch the sunset which was beautiful.
