Malcolm gets up early because he wants to go out and see the palace while we are here. Once he returns we head to the bus station. Our bus isn't in the list, but Malcolm finds it outside and we board. We get to the nice airport about 12pm and head to another bus stop to catch the cheap bus into town. We check in to our hotel and get upgraded for no extra cost to a private room from a dorm room! Yay. It's not quite ready when we get there so we just leave our bags and head back downstairs. We plan our view around Nice and head out. It's a lovely sunny day. We end up catching a little train car ride around the main points and then go and sit on the stoney beach. Through the flower market and narrow winding streets with shops of all kinds. Past a cathedral and back through the park like centre. We stop for groceries and have an epic dinner of potatoes, guacamole and corn chips! Haven't been this full in ages!
