After the Blarney Castle, Catherine and I made our way to Killarney. It's a cute little town with lots of little stores that sits on the edge of the Killarney National Park. I opted to walk around, have a bite to eat and relax. Again I find the people in Scotland a lot warmer!
Yesterday I left the hostel at 630 to use the bike Catherine rented and bike around the park....you know...when the bugs are out lol It was nice and Ross Castle was a nice sight even though I was too early to go in. In stopping to take pics of the cows (not that I couldn't do this at home lol) a guy walking down the trail scared a red deer in my direction. He was a lot smaller than I expected and sorry guys, I didn't see how many points! If I had to guess I'd say 3 or 4. I snapped a pic with my phone but Catherine is convinced it's a tree lol We went on a 20€, 6 hour tour of Dingle and the coast; the weather finally cooperated! It was the most beautiful day yet :)
Up early again this morning I am on the 7:55am train to Dublin. The plan is one night at the Temple Hostel there and then around 9pm I take an hour long flight to London where I'm looking forward to staying with Jay's family. They found me a ticket to go to the Paralympics with them Saturday, I'm soooo sleeping in Friday and then I'll tour around London meeting more of the family and seeing the sights.
