Pretty smooth border crossing into Cambodia which is unusal for S.E Asia even though it was an 18 hour bus ride!
Sihanoukville revolves around the beach, sun, sea, alcohol and what seems like hundreds of cambodian children pestering you to buy bracelets/anklets & fruit, all of which are way too familliar with English slang and swearing! The beach was also where we were reunited with some friends from Vietnam and introduced to a new group of friends including two amazing/crazy English girls who have been living in Oz for some time now (you know who you are!!) who kept us entertained for days!!!
Most of our time here was spent chilling on the beach and drinking in the beach bars at night. Our last night consisted of a 1.5 hour boat trip to an Island party (a bit of a taster for the full moon party!) comprising lots of people, alcohol, music, log fires, and fluorescent paint!
We watched the sunrise on the beach (pretty disappointing) and got the second to last boat back to the mainland, enjoying the exceptional entertainment provided by one of our new friends and her owl on the journey back!
Next we headed back on a coach this time to Phnom Penh for some culture.
