Helloooo we are in Sydney!

After the fiasco of Jess missing her flight we could then not sleep that night in fear that we would miss ours too! We went to bed at 10 but ended up getting up at midnight and just staying awake til our flight. As soon as we arrived in Sydney we met the other guys in our dorm- 5 english girls, an irish guy and american and a very pleasant german guy who has very loud phone calls at 7 in the morning. Great.

Everyone's dead nice and we ended up going out, again!

It's really strange going from a little hostel where you have to take your shoes off, with one toilet and shower with 20 people overall, to a massssive hostel with 7 floors with dorm rooms of 10 people. We met someone we know from Halifax again! Crazy, everywhere we've been so far we've seen someone we know; well Amy knows Becky has no friends.

Today we woke up and it was torrential. Roads were like rivers, really bucketing it down. The girls and us from the room were going to go on the city tour but decided nahh. So me and Amy instead went to the Aquarium which is really cool, it's got the whole finding nemo cast, with little nemos and dorys swimming about the place.

We then decided to go for a walk and see where we go to. We were walking for ages when we turned round a corner and saw the opera house just there in all its glory! tahdahhh! It was aceee.

Even better we had a 10dollar rump steak on the way back to the hostel. Beaut!

Tomorrows meant to be rainy, Rain! Travel half way round the world and it flippin rains! So we're thinking the wildlife world tomorrow, then beaches wednesday!
