We arrived in chiang mai at 6 am this morning after an 11 hour bus journey ride. The joureny wasnt as bad as i thought it would be and the seats reclind a lot so we could slepp. But it was freezing when we got here!! had a really good couple of days! Yesterday we got a coach at7am to the floating markets where we got a boat down the river whilst locals on other boats would try and sell you things. DAY 1!! Arrived in bangkok safely yesterday. We checked in and met up with Rich, who is now travelling with us for the rest of thailand and malaysia. Went out for a nice first meal and then drank on the street! Had a couple of cocktails, presented to you in buckets, and met some other people travelling.
