Hmmmm what to say about today, was in a pretty vile mood when my alarm went off at 2.50 considering people had only stopped running around and shouting about 20 minutes before! Okay so finally left Cuzco, a day later than I'd hoped after 2 whole days of not even leaving the hostel! Jumped on a night bus south to Arequipa! The night bus was fairly fancy, searches before boarding, photos of all people on board, gps tracking, wifi (who knew buses could have wifi) nice reclining seats, dinner, drinks but the most horrific heat, literally was gasping for fresh air by the morning! Sat around the hostel pool for a few hours waiting for the people in my dorm to wake up so I could make myself respectable before I bumbled into the main plaza, pretty bloody beautiful by all accounts! Okay so not the best start to the trip, jungle turned out to be a disorganised farse & left early, bit of a shame considering how amazing my last trip there was...
