Sooo after the yummiest smoothie i've ever tasted (blackcurrant & yoghurt :)) we clambered over a tiny path that wound round the lake edge until we arrived at Casa Ven Aca (House Come in!) with a infinity pool & boiling hot jacuzzi. Was just us, the bar staff, a few stray dogs and some of the yummiest mojitos ever invented. My favourite was with basil & rosa de jamaica.

After swimming, hitting the hot tub & general baking my tan in I wandered off on my own & sat of the dock. Perfect view to simply watch & ponder.

At the end of the day we took the boat over to San Juan. A little unspoilt town with colourful murals on most walls. The inhabitants as Mayan & speak Xotojil. We visted a women's association of weavers. Treated myself to a gorgeous silk scarf coloured from natural dyes.

Then....time for the homestay. Lovely family, Marcos, Juana & their three sons. Yummy dinner & we helped with the washing up which was lots of fun!
