BULA!

Welcome to Fiji. After travelling 29 hours in the space of a six hour flight (-whatever happened to Sunday..?) I was greeted by a beautiful Fijian lady at Nadi Airport, who presented me with a coral necklace before taking me to my transfer for Nadi Bay Resort Hotel. The resort was immediately a nice surprise - by far the best budget accomodation I had had so far. Two pools, two beach/snack bars, an a la carte restuarant, mini cinema, internet cafe and beauty salon. Even better was my half full six person dorn that had single beds instead of bunks. And sofas. There was a torrential downpour for the most part of the afternoon/eve (-these seem to be following me around!) although it made little difference as I was so jetlagged (after last night's three hour sleep and early start) I pretty much passed out as soon as I hit the room. Waking at 8pm and still feeling a bit out of sorts I decided a good dinner was in order before settling down ahead of tomorrow's adventures.
